The history of Château Tour de Rissac, located in the Caunettes Basses hamlet in Moussoulens, started in 1453 with the seigneury of the house of Voisins. The wine estate covers nearly 70 hectares of unbroken land, 43 of which are home to vineyards clad with distinctive flat stones (limestone) and 1.5 hectares to truffle oaks. The varietal range is mainly typical of the appellation and 40 hectares are classified as AOP Cabardès.
